More About Vangie Elzey

I earned my graduate degree in Social Work from University of Cincinnati and have experience working in community mental health agencies as well as providing counseling services as a school-based mental health clinician.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults, and I am passionate about supporting individuals through a collaborative and empowering therapeutic process. I have specialized experience working with clients that are experiencing trauma, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. Additionally, I have worked with individuals of all ages and abilities, including those diagnosed with autism and intellectual disabilities. My therapeutic approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs and primarily incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy techniques, along with Mindfulness practices. I strive to create a safe, trusting, and supportive environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and encouraged throughout their personal growth journey.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and exploring new restaurants and coffee shops in my free time.
