Katie is a Supervising Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Social Worker with over 17 years of experience in the mental health field. She received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Eastern Kentucky University in 2004 and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University in 2009.
Katie’s almost two decades of experience in the mental health field includes working with clients from diverse backgrounds and individuals who present with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anger management, ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, peer relationship issues, and school concerns. She provides a safe, non-judgmental environment and works collaboratively with clients to meet them where they are, identify their individual goals, and help them make positive changes in their lives.
Katie uses a wide range of interventions and therapeutic approaches, including client-centered therapy, CBT, DBT-informed therapy, and solution-focused techniques to help clients reach their treatment goals.
