Lee Ring (they/them) is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisor designation (LISW-S). Lee graduated with a Masters of Social Work from Simmons University in 2019. They have training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). Lee also informs their work with concepts from the polyvagal theory and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
With clinical experience across various age groups and backgrounds, Lee employs creative therapeutic methods, integrating art, music, and play. They utilize a client-centered, strengths-based approach to foster collaboration and empowerment.
Lee aims to create a safe space for clients, valuing their unique stories and identities. Their areas of specialized interest include abuse and trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and support for the LGBTQ+ community.
