Working with children is one of my greatest passions. As a mother of six and grandmother of ten, I bring decades of real-life experience alongside my professional training. I strive to be a trusted, supportive adult in your child’s life.
I specialize in cognitive behavioral play therapy (CBPT), a structured, goal-oriented approach that uses crafts, puppets, games, toys, role-play, and books to help children safely express themselves. Through this process, children can confront fears, process emotions, and develop healthier behaviors. I work closely with parents to identify goals, ensuring each session is purposeful and aligned with your child’s needs.
In addition to working with children, I counsel teens, adults, couples, and families. Everyone deserves a space to be heard, and I am an empathetic, non-judgmental listener who is committed to helping you navigate life’s challenges. Whether you are seeking personal growth, healing in relationships, recovery from trauma, or relief from anxiety or depression, I am here to support you.
My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, and I also have extensive training in behavioral therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I would be honored to partner with you or your child on the journey toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
