Savannah Rodriguez is a dedicated Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Walden University, specializing in trauma and PTSD. As a counselor trainee, she is committed to supporting individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and related mental health challenges through compassionate, evidence-based care.

Savannah has hands-on experience helping patients in inpatient behavioral health settings. Her understanding of the complex emotional and psychological needs of trauma survivors and those living with mood and anxiety disorders.

Savannah holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, graduating summa cum laude from Franklin University, and brings a strong foundation in psychological theory, behavioral research, and clinical assessment – particularly in trauma-informed care and the diagnostic criteria outlined in the DSM-5.

Fluent in Spanish, she is passionate about delivering culturally sensitive counseling to diverse populations. With certifications in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention and CPR/BLS, Savannah is equipped to provide safe, empathetic care in crisis situations. Her goal as a future licensed clinical mental health counselor is to specialize in trauma counseling, helping clients rebuild resilience and achieve healing from PTSD and related conditions.

Through her volunteer work and professional experience, Savannah demonstrates a deep commitment to advocacy, empowerment, and mental wellness for vulnerable populations affected by trauma and mental illness.

This collaborative approach ensures that your counseling experience is supported by a team committed to your growth and well-being. Jeremiah will be actively involved in overseeing clinical aspects of your care, including attending some sessions and reviewing diagnostic and treatment plans to ensure they are tailored to your needs.
