Hi! My name is Sadé, but most people call me Shay. I’m a clinical mental health counseling intern, currently completing the final steps toward becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. With a background in psychology and nearly a decade of experience in behavioral therapy, I bring both practical knowledge and heartfelt passion to the work I do. My goal as a therapist is to support you in becoming the best version of yourself by offering tools to navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief.
My approach to therapy is holistic and flexible—I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Every person is different, and our work together should reflect that. I use an integrative style, meaning I tailor each session to meet your unique needs and strengths. Whether you’re looking for healing, clarity, or personal growth, I aim to create a space that meets you where you are and helps you move toward where you want to be.
More than anything, I want therapy with me to feel like a safe, supportive space where you can be open and honest without judgment. Together, we’ll explore what it means to live as your most authentic self and work on practical strategies to help you get there. I’d be honored to walk alongside you on this journey toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.
