Hi, I’m Jennifer, or you can call me Jen. Since 2009, I have been a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S) in Ohio, focusing on supporting individuals and adolescents on their journey to mental wellness. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Northern Kentucky University and a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.
My approach to therapy is a unique blend of various models and theories, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Theory, among others. I firmly believe in the power of tailoring therapy to each client’s specific needs. You’ll often hear me say, “Take what works and leave what doesn’t,” because I’m dedicated to helping you find the right fit and theory that resonates with you.
I’m here to assist you with mood and anxiety challenges, perfectionism, avoidance, life transitions, or any other stressors you may be experiencing. I also have experience with Body Image challenges, and I work to help individuals improve their relationship with food using Health at Every Size (HAES) view. If you’re seeking a compassionate guide on your path to well-being, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I look forward to embarking on self-discovery and personal growth with you.
