I am a Master’s of Social Work intern dedicated to creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood, affirmed, and supported as we work together toward meaningful change. My therapeutic style is calm, patient, and collaborative; I value slowing down, allowing pauses, and giving space for deeper processing to emerge.
In our sessions, I focus on understanding what matters most to you, gently exploring patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and helping you build kinder, more supportive ways of connecting to yourself. My approach is person-centered and strengths-based, integrating light CBT strategies, compassion-focused reflection, and body awareness to support emotional regulation and insight. I am especially interested in how evolutionary psychology, early experiences, and the demands of modern life shape our survival strategies and influence the ways we relate to ourselves, our partners, and those closest to us.
My background includes over a decade in service-oriented roles, including military service and grassroots advocacy, as well as formal training in political science. These experiences anchor my commitment to justice, equity, and emotional healing. I am passionate about supporting clients who are navigating anxiety, self-criticism, and emotional overwhelm. You can expect sessions grounded in steady presence, gentle curiosity, and genuine care as we work together toward your goals.
