Hi, my name is Sasha, but I prefer to be called Naomi. I’m a Clinical Resident at Mindfully who specializes in trauma-informed care for both teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. My approach to counseling is grounded in cultural humility, which means I see you as the expert of your own life and experiences. I’m here to offer support, perspective, and tools to help you navigate the challenging aspects—and toward the life you want—with greater clarity and confidence. Whether you’re looking for support in person or prefer online sessions, I offer flexible options for anyone living in Ohio.
Before entering the mental health field, I spent years working in nonprofit development and mediation, where I helped individuals and organizations navigate conflict, build strong relationships, and find creative solutions during challenging times. These experiences have profoundly shaped my work as a therapist today—I bring a compassionate, systems-aware lens to the counseling room, and I value collaboration, effective communication, and the unique strengths each person brings to the space. I’ve also facilitated family and identity-based mediations, which have given me a profound appreciation for the complexity and depth of our stories.
Currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I have completed advanced coursework in areas such as trauma and resilience, social and cultural diversity, and grief and loss. My goal is to meet each client where they are and walk alongside them with care, curiosity, and authenticity. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just in need of someone to talk to, I’m here—and I’d be honored to support you.
