Hi, my name is Sasha, but I prefer to be called Naomi. I’m a therapist at Mindfully who specializes in trauma-informed care for adolescents, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and major life transitions. My approach to counseling is grounded in the belief that you are the expert of your own life and experiences and my job is to offer support, perspective, and tools to help you navigate challenges—and toward the life you want—with greater clarity and confidence. Whether you’re looking for in-person support or prefer online sessions, I offer flexible options for anyone living in Ohio.
Before entering the mental health field, I spent years as a birth doula, providing emotional support during childbirth, and in nonprofit development and mediation, where I helped individuals and organizations navigate conflict, build strong relationships, and find creative solutions during challenging times. These experiences have profoundly shaped my work as a therapist today—I strive to bring a compassionate, systems-aware lens to the counseling room, and I value collaboration, effective communication, and the unique strengths each person brings to the space.
I specialized in trauma and resilience, social and cultural diversity, and grief and loss. My approach is flexible and rooted in a humanistic and psychodynamic approach, informed by IFS (Internal Family Systems) as well as somatic and polyvagal therapies. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based treatment modality for trauma processing.
My goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and authenticity. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just in need of someone to talk to, I’m here—and I’d be honored to support you.
