Krista Nelson, MSW, LSW is a dedicated social worker and therapist who believes that life is beautiful and worth living—yet understands how challenging it can be to navigate at times. She is passionate about helping people move toward happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives by providing a supportive, affirming, and judgment-free space for healing and growth.
Krista works with adolescents, adults, families, and individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relational challenges, and identity-related stressors. She is proud to work alongside and support members of the LGBTQIA+ community, offering affirming care that honors each person’s lived experience and sense of self. Drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT, Krista tailors her approach to meet each individual’s unique needs and goals.
Krista earned her master’s in social work from Indiana Wesleyan University and brings additional insight from her background in criminal justice. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. Krista is committed to walking alongside her clients with compassion, clarity, and unwavering support.
