I work with adults who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, caregiver burnout, relationship difficulties, disability-related concerns, or challenging life transitions. I welcome members of the LGBTQ+ community and people seeking support related to gender identity, self-acceptance, or relationships. Therapy can provide a place to better understand what is happening, identify patterns that may no longer be helpful, and develop practical strategies for moving forward.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Walden University and am currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree. I am an Ohio-licensed social worker and an MSW intern providing counseling under clinical supervision. I have more than 30 years of experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families and caregivers. This experience has given me a strong understanding of how personal, family, social, and environmental factors can affect emotional well-being.
My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered. I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and focused on the goals that matter to you. I strive to provide a straightforward, respectful, and affirming environment where you can speak openly, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful change.
