Hello, my name is Jessica, most people call me Jess and I invite you to do so too! I am a LPC (licensed professional counselor). I received a Bachelor’s in Psychology at Kent State University in 2017 and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University in 2024. My best and most noticed qualities are being humorous and empathetic. I have a passion for helping people find joy in their life. I have done this through working at various mental health facilities. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
I am here to help with whatever challenge you are facing whether it be depression, anxiety, grief, loss, or any number of overwhelming emotions. Life can be tough and having someone to talk to can be life-changing. I use various approaches during counseling, such as Client-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Throughout your counseling sessions, my goal is to help you build the necessary skills to lead you in a positive direction.
You have already made great strides to improving your mental health, such as recognizing that you need help and researching who you want to help you. I would like to be that person to help you through your journey to improving your mental health. I am available for both in-person and online therapy – whichever makes you feel more comfortable is good with me!
