Hi, I’m Ashley Grisby, a social work student at Northern Kentucky University, currently in my first year of the program. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, I have always been passionate about helping others and creating meaningful connections. I hold a master’s degree in education and have spent years supporting individuals and families in various roles—each experience strengthening my commitment to becoming a therapist. I’m currently completing my internship at Mindfully, where I have the privilege of working directly with clients and learning from their unique journeys.
Over the years, I’ve supported families as a Family Intervention Specialist, helping them navigate challenges and overcome barriers to keep children safely within the home. As a Certified Parent Educator, I worked closely with parents, particularly during pre- and postnatal stages, to build healthy bonds with their children through customized, evidence-based lesson plans. My background also includes roles in education and healthcare, where I developed a strong foundation in compassionate communication, listening with empathy, and meeting people exactly where they are.
I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to feel heard, understood, and supported. Whether you’re facing stress, navigating a transition, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to walk alongside you as you explore your thoughts and emotions. My approach is person-centered and strengths-based, grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I’m excited to learn and grow with each client I meet, and I would be honored to support you on your path to healing and personal growth.
