Being a teenager right now can feel like being an outsider in your own life.
Do you ever feel like you’re shouting into a void—like no matter how hard you try to explain what’s going on in your head, the adults in your life just don’t get it? If you feel stuck, misunderstood, or weighed down by past experiences, I want you to know it doesn’t have to stay this way.
My name is Caitlin Sanders, and I am a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2023 and completed my Master of Social Work at the University of Pikeville in 2024. I have experience working with children and adolescents ages five and older, with a particular passion for supporting adolescents ages 13–17. My clinical experience includes working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and anxiety.
I work with teens who are tired of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and misunderstood. My approach is different—I’m not here to lecture you or tell you who to be. Using a blend of EMDR, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, we work together to process the hard stuff—whether that’s past trauma or the everyday stress of being a teen—and find a path forward that actually feels like you.
You deserve a space where you can be real, be heard, and finally feel understood.
