Hi, I’m Jen. Taking the first steps toward better mental health can feel intimidating; I’m genuinely glad you’re here. I believe that anyone can benefit from therapy. My role is to help you identify your strengths, build on them, and develop coping skills that support a healthier, more resilient you. I’m an authentic, down-to-earth person with a great sense of humor, and I bring that energy into the therapy space.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University and a trauma-informed counseling certification. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and strength-based, grounded in compassion and collaboration. Outside of work, I enjoy attending concerts and football games, and spending time with my family and dogs. As both a military veteran and a military spouse, I deeply understand the unique challenges military families experience. I’ve spent more than twenty years supporting military families through volunteer work, and that experience continues to guide my work today.
As a multicultural provider, I understand how culture shapes who we are and how that cultural identity contributes to the therapeutic process. I am a gender-affirming therapist and a supportive advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as for those who love and support someone within it. I’m truly excited to walk alongside you on this journey and look forward to meeting you at our office location or through telehealth.
