Shilah Kidd is a counselor trainee currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at John Carroll University, with an anticipated graduation in Fall 2026. She also holds a Bachelor of Specialized Studies, focusing on the intersection of Exercise Physiology, Nutrition, and Psychology within the broader framework of Human Behavior and Wellness. This academic foundation, paired with her lived experiences, allows Shilah to approach counseling holistically, honoring both the mind and the body.
Shilah is committed to creating a warm, supportive, and culturally responsive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and respected. Her approach emphasizes self-awareness, empowerment, and resilience, helping individuals build healthy coping strategies and move toward meaningful, fulfilling lives.
In her free time, Shilah enjoys working out, spending time with friends, and engaging in arts and crafts. Her favorite season is fall, and she loves the colors and all things football. Her overall goal as a counselor is to ensure that clients feel safe, empowered, and understood, while gaining the knowledge, confidence, and support needed to navigate their personal journeys with clarity and purpose.
