Tameka Gibbs is a dedicated and passionate professional with over a decade of impactful service to at-risk youth. With a strong foundation in rehabilitation services and currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University, Ms. Gibbs brings both heart and expertise to every role she assumes. Her career began in 2009 at Dayton Job Corps, where she progressed rapidly from Residential Advisor to key leadership roles, including Career Development Director at centers across Ohio and Arkansas.

Throughout her career, Ms. Gibbs has designed and led programs that empower young people to overcome adversity, find purpose, and achieve success. Notably, during her tenure at Little Rock Job Corps, she helped improve the center’s national ranking by 45 places in just one year.

Most recently, she served as the Chief of Operations at Dohn Community High School, where she led with a clear vision: to foster an inclusive, collaborative, and academically excellent environment that enables all students to thrive. Her leadership is rooted in empathy, high standards, and a commitment to preparing students for a diverse and evolving world.

As Director of Development for the BIA, Ms. Gibbs’s area of core focus includes working with the community to support the organization, Enzweiler Building Institute, and the Covington Academy of Heritage Trades as follows: fundraising, endowment funding, in-kind donations, sponsorships, planned giving, donor relations and communications, and grant support.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Gibbs is a devoted mother to her son. She enjoys reading, traveling, shopping, and creating meaningful connections with family and friends. Her philosophy centers on growth and the belief that investing in people is the most powerful way to create lasting change.
