Hi! My name is Joanna Hall, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Ohio. My journey into the field of counseling began with a passion for helping others. I strive to help others build on their own strengths and lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and mental processes. I furthered my education by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College, where I developed my skills and knowledge in therapeutic practices.
My counseling approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, which focuses on empathy and empowerment. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client, with a particular emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I strive to provide a safe space where individuals can openly explore their thoughts and feelings and create positive change and growth in their lives.
Whether you are navigating through grief, facing significant life changes, struggling with anxiety or depression, or experiencing difficulties in relationships, I am here to offer a compassionate ear and neutral space for you to process your experiences. I understand that reaching out for support can be difficult, but I assure you that it is a brave first step towards healing and growth.
