More About Madisyn Taylor

You may be feeling caught in cycles of worry, overthinking, avoidance, or self-doubt, struggling to manage the demands of everyday life while navigating a major life transition. Maybe you find yourself spending too much time trying to control uncomfortable thoughts or feelings, having difficulty staying focused and organized, or feeling disconnected from the things that matter most to you. Therapy can be a space to understand these patterns better, develop practical tools for managing them, and move toward a life that feels more meaningful and aligned with your values.

As a counseling intern, I am especially interested in working with individuals experiencing obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, and attention deficit disorder. My therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), including values-based work. I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored to the individual, rather than a one-size-fits-all process. Together, we can explore the thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck, while building skills to respond to challenges in healthier, more intentional ways. I strive to bring curiosity, compassion, and a nonjudgmental perspective to each session.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and you don’t need to know exactly what you need or have everything figured out before reaching out. My goal is to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, explore what you’re experiencing, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you’re seeking support for OCD, anxiety, ADHD, or simply navigating a challenging season of life, I would be happy to connect and see if we might be a good fit. I am available to meet with you in person at our comfortable office location in Anderson Township, or online through our HIPAA-compliant video conference software.
